Essential oil is a volatile compound that contains a set of terpene components. Essential oils and other herbal fragrances are extracted by various methods such as cold pressure extraction, distillation, solvent extraction, microwave vacuum distillation, oil soaking and extraction with adsorbent oils from plant materials.
